CitySpeak Event at the Corvallis Library
At 6:30 p.m. in the Corvallis-Benton County Library Main Meeting Room, OSU prof and the owner of the Harris Bridge Winery in Philomath, Nathan Warren, will present his Conscious Community Theory, or CCT. Warren was on the cover of our last issue. His theory is quickly gaining esteem for its re-prioritization of planet over profit, in creating a conscious capitalist society.
Up next, at 7 p.m., NAACP President Angel Harris will talk life in a brown 
body, as well as the Implicit Bias Initiative in Corvallis. Harris was on our cover in early December of last year, when she shared her background and experiences, as well as some NAACP initiatives.
Free to the public, donations encouraged. All donations go to journalists at Corvallis’ only locally-owned newspapers. This event is slated for Thursday, February 27 at Corvallis Public Library. It begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. Seating can be limited, early arrival is encouraged.
