Learn strategies for identifying misinformation in this free, librarian-led workshop. You will learn why misinformation proliferates and how to identify it, how to fact check viral content, and how to use search engines more effectively.
The workshop is set for Saturday, March 22, from 12 to 1 pm., at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library Main Meeting Room.
Librarian Bonnie Brzozowski of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library will teach this workshop. Bonnie has been a librarian for 17 years and holds her Master of Science degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
