Free Kids Meals at Corvallis Schools this Summer, Here’s the Schedule

Yes, there is such a thing as a free lunch, and even a free breakfast too. The annual Corvallis School District Summer Meal Program starts Monday, June 23 – the full schedule is below.

It’s for kids  ages 18 and younger – no application or sign-up or proof of income is required. You just bring your kiddo to one of the sites listed below, and they get a free lunch. And if your child has a disability and is 21 or younger, they too can access the program.

The biggest requirement is that the meals need to be eaten onsite.

About the program

This is a USDA program, and it follows their nutritional guidelines. Corvallis Schools received about $167,000 in reimbursement and spent approximately $180,000 to run the program last year, according to District spokesperson Kelly Locey.

It is a popular program – the district served 34,468 meals last summer.
