On this very special night, virtuoso pianist Aaron Diehl introduces the PRAx audience to the gorgeous new Steinway Concert Grand piano that he selected for the Detrick Hall in PRAx. Prior to the performance, visit the Toomey Lobby to see a video of the selection at the Steinway factory in New York City to learn about the features that make a Steinway a Steinway. The program itself will demonstrate the range of the instrument, combining Diehl’s artful renditions of classical material with his ethereal and inventive jazz playing. Aaron Diehl is managed by Opus 3 Artists.
