CAAB Work Group Meeting – No Wasted Food. 5 p.m. The Climate Action Advisory Board (CAAB) – No Food Wasted Work Group will be meeting virtually at 5:00 p.m. This is a work session so that CAAB members may focus on a single issue. As such there will be no opportunity for public comment on the agenda, however, community members are still welcome and encouraged to attend CAAB meetings. Tuesday String Band is a Bluegrass Trio made up of young music professionals who met through the music education program at Western Oregon University. They love to entertain crowds with fast picking humor, and variety in their music. They are an Oregon Bluegrass Association member band, were featured on KGW News for theirmusic, and was featured at the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival. In connection with the “Sonic Booms” exhibition, PRAx celebrates music technology and experimentation. Rob Schwimmer inhabits a musical kingdom where he, playing alone, conjures a sound world created by his singular virtuosity at the piano, theremin (on which he’s considered to be one of the world masters) and Haken Continuum — a rarely heard combination which allows him to bring audiences to beautiful and mysterious new sonic territory and perhaps find new or re-connect with forgotten feelings.
