Join for a discussion of bestselling, critically-acclaimed, author Robin Wall Kimmerer’s first book, Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses. The discussion will be led by Karen Holmberg, local author of two books of poetry and a young adult novel (publishing April 23, 2024): Axis Mundi: Poems, The Perseids: Poems, and The Collagist. About Karen Holmberg: Karen Holmberg is an award-winning poet, essayist, and fiction writer whose work strives to honor the natural world. Her second collection of poems, Axis Mundi, was named one of the top ten poetry titles for 2013 by Slate Magazine. Her young adult novel, The Collagist, is forthcoming from Fitzroy Books in April 2024. She lives in Corvallis, where she teaches literature, writing, and letterpress printing at Oregon State University as part of the MFA Program in Creative Writing.
