Woodland: A poetry Open Mic Featuring Caroline Holm. Interzone Inc, 1561 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis. 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Poetics Corvallis presents a poetry open mic featuring Oregon poet and artist Caroline Holm. She will be reading from her first poetry book Woodland, which she illustrated herself, as well as from her current work in progress. Come share poems or poetic prose that you like, by you or by another, on any topic, at our friendly free open mic in the artsy ambience of the InterZone Cafe. More about Caroline: Caroline Holm is an artist, mother, poet, and psilocybin facilitator in support of grief work, end of life care, healing and nature connection. She was a 2022 LiTFUSE scholar, received an honorable mention from the Oregon Poetry Association, and is a 2023 Hypatia in The Woods and Original Minds artist and writer in residence. Caroline’s first collection of illustrated poetry and prose, Woodland was published in February 2022 and she is currently writing and painting work for her forthcoming second book.
