The Corvallis Fire Department invites the public to join us for a grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Fire Station 3, located at 1310 NW Circle Blvd., on Sunday, November 19.
The event will begin with a formal recognition ceremony at 2 p.m., followed by an open house and guided tours of the remodeled fire station.
Station 3 has a small parking lot, so we encourage guests to park at the Boys and Girls Club, located at 1112 NW Circle Blvd. ADA accessible parking will be available on-site at Station 3.
Refreshments will be provided. Families welcome.
Remodel Project History
Background
The Fire Station 3 remodel was approved as part of the Citywide Facilities Project Priority Phasing Plan in June 2022. The project is paid for from federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Construction is expected to start in the second half of 2022. Additional updates will be posted here.
September 2022
Fire Station 3 closed in late September 2022 ahead of the planned remodel project. Firefighters and equipment were relocated to other fire stations in the city for the duration of the project, which is expected to take about 11 months.
October 2022
City leaders and Fire Department officials came together in late October to officially break ground on the $3.5 million renovation project. The station will be closed for about a year for an extensive interior remodel.
September 2023
This project is complete! Firefighters moved back into their newly renovated fire station in September 2023. We are excited to make use of our new, improved facility to serve the community.
