The holiday rush is behind us and the new year has officially begun. For Corvallis science and nature lovers, 2023 starts off busy, with events nearly every day for the rest of January. You can learn to keep bees and properly prune trees, help maintain trails at Bald Hill, or hear a master wildlife artist talk about his work. There’s a nature walk, a conference all about Willamette Valley birds, and a dining event to benefit women in science. On top of all that, there are several important city, county, and nonprofit meetings this month, where you can make your voice heard on some of our most important local environmental issues.
