On the agenda this week the task force will look at the possibility for levy renewal, by looking at a specific percentage of levy income for the services provided in order to obtain more funding for programs.

Earlier this year, the city received $1 million of general funds from the state to fund programs under the task force. In addition, the county allocated $2 million from one-time state and federal COVID funding to address houselessness.

The task force was created by the city council back in Sep. 2022 to help draft a policy for Social Services Funding to bring to the city council for approval.  Slated for 4:30 p.m. at the Corvallis Community Center. For more info, click here.
