Trusty Rusty
The Oz’s tin man is no more
And survivors have a plan
The first thing they are gonna do
Is notify his next of can
Fabreze
I wrote a verse about the wind
To see it, you must wait
Cuz at the moment now it is
Only in a draft state
Up is Down
A bat that’s hanging upside down
Presents us with a conundrum
Because it’s very hard to know
What’s over ‘em and what’s under ‘em
Limerick (Untitled)
The mouse in my house makes me shriek
Every time I espy its physique
The thing that inflames
The most are his games
He likes to play hide and go squeak
Endangered Species
I saw a flamingo in my yard
And thought it quite fantastic
Til I discovered that it was
A species very plastic
All Wet
Anemones, diatoms, shrimp and crustaceans
Salmon and tuna and crabs on occasion
Sand dollars, corals and otters and krill
Walruses, octopi and sea urchin thrill
Jellyfish slither all over the sea
Dolphins go swimming around with esprit
Manta rays moving like birds with their motion
Life underwater – poetry in ocean
