Election Results 2022

Last updated Nov. 10, 10.00 a.m. These election results aren’t official yet, and a new state law calls for ballots postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on election day to be counted up to one week after the election. However, a number of these races aren’t particularly close, and it is worth noting that Oregon, and especially our area, leans heavily Democratic. So, here are the current vote tallies for our local and statewide races, at least the contested ones.

73.25% of  local votes counted, 53.10% of state votes counted:

  • Struthers  34.48%
  • Maughan 37.97%
  • Hogg 26.74%

Corvallis City Council Ward 2

  • Jancilla 29.79%
  • Lewis 69.19%

Corvallis City Council Ward 3

  • Lytle 82.18%
  • Turner 16.49%

Corvallis City Council Ward 9

  • Cadena  44.11%
  • Towsley 33.18%
  • Feldman 22.16%

County Commissioner

  • Malone (D)  66.78% (winner)
  • Kughn (R) 32.94%

Governor

  • Tina Kotek (D)  46.66% (presumed winner)
  • Drazen (R) 43.81%
  • Johnson (I) 8.69%

Oregon State Senate District 8

  • Gelser Blouin (D)  60.32% (winner)
  • Draper Woldeit (R) 39.54%

Oregon House of Representatives District 16

  • Rayfield (D) 75.17% (winner)
  • Lembke (R) 39.91%

Oregon Labor Commissioner

  • Stephenson (D) 60.74%
  • Helt (R) 38.62%

U.S. Senate

  • Wyden (D) 55.86%
  • Perkins (R) 41.22%

Congressional 4th District

  • Hoyle (D)  51.11%
  • Skarlatos (R) 42.73%
