The Benton County Fair is nearly here, and one local group wants to give you a free ticket to get in for just a small chunk of your time.
The Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis was selected to find folks to run the ticket booth this year. If you have time, there’s a virtual sign-up sheet located here with spots open all four days.
By volunteering your time, you’ll get free entry into the fair which runs Aug. 3-6, as well as free parking.
This year, Benton County snagged some first-rate entertainers like Chase Bryant and Colt Ford, plus tribute productions for the likes of the Beatles, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John. On the Family Fun Stage, you can see the Tanzanite African Acrobats and Twisty the Great Comedy Illusionist. Plus, there’s always good food, good fun, and a rodeo – all of that is just scratching the surface.
Give back by taking tickets for a couple of hours and then have a blast. We’ll see you all there.
