Between June 4 and September 4, Philomath Museum (one of the two Benton County Museums) is presenting a photo exhibit of 17 selected artists, members of the Willamette Valley PhotoArts Guild. The exhibit — called “Quartets” — is a collection of four related photos by each artist.
Mark Tolonen, the curator of the exhibit selected the participants from among 88 online submissions. The diverse subjects include social messages, abstracted closeups, and Nature revelry. The techniques include infrared photos, manipulated images and intentional camera movement with color schemes from black and white to vibrant hues.
The museum, located at 1101 Main St., Philomath, is open Wed-Sat 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
