OSU Grads Can Walk for Graduation

Oregon State University’s class of 2020 and 2021 can walk for graduation the day before their virtual commencement. Graduates will walk from the Memorial Union or Valley Library to Reser Stadium. There, Interim President Becky Johnson, Provost and Executive Vice President Edward Freser, and the college deans will speak.

The walk takes place on June 11 from 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Only graduates and faculty will be able to attend the walk. Friends and family can tune in to the virtual commencement on June 12 from 10:30 a.m.

Graduates from the OSU-Cascades campus will have their virtual ceremony on June 13. OSU will set up photo booths in Reser Stadium and the Memorial Union so graduates can take pictures. The Memorial Union stations will be up from June 7 – 10.

Those eligible for the walk can RSVP via the email they will receive.

If risk of COVID-19 gets too high, the university does have the power to cancel this in-person walk.
