Old World Deli Reopens with New Year’s Eve Bash

After months of closure, and lots of renovations, Corvallis favorite Old World Deli, located at 341 SW 2nd St. in Corvallis, will be reopening on New Year’s Eve. That’s tomorrow for those of you not keeping track.

Featuring organic coffee, house-smoked meats, brownies, chili, and a sandwich for any taste bud, the deli looks toward the future as a place where diversity is respected and ideas can be openly discussed.

And for the public to help celebrate their new interior, they’ve invited live performers. Starting at 5:00 p.m. with Americana Blues guitarist Adam Scramstad. At 6:00, Wild Hog In The Woods plays their folk music for the crowd. And at 10:00 p.m. the stage will be taken up with local band Funk Meisters Citizens Of The Universe to let you dance on into 2022.

While you can dine at the deli vaccinated or not, if you want to get in to party hearty with the pack, you’ll need either a vaccination card or a negative Covid test that is no older than 48 hours. This last protocol will allow the dining experience to move its way into the entertainment with limited risk to you, the musicians, and your servers.
