The Corvallis Knights are starting up this summer with their first home game in 670 days. On Friday, June 18, the Knights, who have now held the title of West Coast League Champions four times in a row, will be taking on the Cowlitz Black Bears at Goss Stadium. Gates are scheduled to open at 6:00 p.m., the first pitch at 6:35 p.m.
Per the Knights’ COVID-19 safety plan, which is informed by the most up-to-date requirements from Oregon State University and the Oregon Health Authority, all seats in Goss Stadium will be reserved seating. Some sections will be reserved for fully vaccinated individuals, while others will be reserved for unvaccinated individuals; the latter will include “pods” of seats that will allow fans to socially distance. Fans are responsible for remaining in their assigned seats.
Fans may wear masks if they feel comfortable, but they will not be required to do so at Goss Stadium this summer. The only exception to this is that unvaccinated fans will be required to wear masks when using the restroom since it’s an indoor space. As such, unvaccinated fans are advised to bring masks with them just in case.
Tickets may be purchased online at https://corvallisknights.com/. The first 1,000 fans to enter Goss Stadium’s gates will receive a free Knights magnet schedule.
