Enjoy a little pre-Valentine’s celebration featuring Spiritopia, Vivacity Spirits, and Sinister Craft! These distilleries will be sharing samples of their handcrafted beverages in the beautiful main gallery of the Art Center. There will also be live jazz, delicious, hearty snacks, and maker stations where you can create seasonal greeting cards. Admission is $10, which includes two samples and appetizers. The 2nd Thursday of every month members of DTW host a jam for anyone interested in Jazz and it’s related genres to come work on their skills. There is a sign up sheet, and we do our best to make sure everyone gets some play time. Come prepared with a few common songs from the genres, and come ready to play! Feb. 14: Beaver Believers – “The Beaver Believers is an award-winning feature documentary sharing the urgent yet whimsical story of an unlikely cadre of activists – a biologist, a hydrologist, a botanist, an ecologist, a psychologist, and a hairdresser – who share a common vision. They’re all working to restore the North American Beaver, that most industrious, ingenious, bucktoothed little engineer, to the watersheds of the American West.” The producer will be on hand to answer questions. Join the Corvallis Odd Fellows for the 16th annual Eco-Film Festival! Each film will be followed by a panel discussion led by experts, with a Q&A session, as well as a raffle for a gift certificate from First Alternative Co-op.
