Corvallis Can Share the Warmth

Now through Dec. 21, Windermere Real Estate brokers are hosting a virtual fundraiser, raising money for local charities to buy winter necessities for those in need.

Windermere Willamette Valley is a local arm of the Windermere Real Estate company, and the Share the Warmth program is an annual tradition that has been happening for two decades. All donations given in the Corvallis area will benefit Corvallis Community Outreach, a program that helps move families and individuals out of crisis. Raised funds will go toward purchasing things such as coats, blankets, and other cold-weather items.

The coronavirus pandemic restricts the normal physical donation process, but this virtual fundraiser will still help those in need. To help, make a donation to Corvallis Community Outreach or visit the Share the Warmth.

Donations such as these are more important than ever in these unprecendented times.

President of the Windermere Services Company in Oregon and SW Washington Scott Mitchelson said, “Vulnerable people in our communities continue to be severely impacted by the pandemic and recent wildfires. Helping to ensure our neighbors have the necessities they need to stay warm this winter is just one way we can step up and help.”
