Corvallis & Albany Options for COVID Testing

During COVID season, it’s better to be safe than sorry.   

If you’re feeling symptoms of coronavirus or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, it’s important to get tested yourself. Here’s a list of local testing sites to ease your mind and help keep others safe.  

 Benton County Community Public Health   

Located at 530 NW 27th St., this testing site is open on Monday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. An appointment, in-person screening, and physician order are required for this location. You must be a patient of Benton County Community Public Health to be tested at this site.   

9th St. Rite Aid  

The Rite Aid at 2080 NW 9th St. provides free diagnostic COVID testing for the public. An appointment is required, and testing is available for those who are 18 or older. This Rite Aid location is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m..  

Corvallis Family Medicine  

At 2400 NW Kings Blvd., Corvallis Family Medicine provides COVID testing with an appointment and in-person screening being required. You must be a patient of this physician’s office to be tested. Masks are also required, but one can be given to you if needed. Corvallis Family Medicine asks that patients call upon their arrival and remain in their vehicle until further instructions are given. This site is open Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m..   

Samaritan Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic  

Samaritan Urgent Care at 5234 SW Philomath Blvd. requires an appointment, in-person screening, and a physician’s order for a COVID test. This site is available for Samaritan patients only. For those who are not patients, call (855) 543-2780. Samaritan also provides a COVID nurse line for the general public: (541) 451-7425. Call the facility upon your arrival and wait for further instructions when testing at this site. Samaritan Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. 

 The Corvallis Clinic Aumann Building  

The Corvallis Clinic Aumann Building at 444 NW Elks Dr. provides non-rapid testing results in seven days. An appointment and in-person screening are required for this site, and testing is available for all ages. You must be symptomatic or have been exposed to be tested at this site. This location is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..  

The Corvallis Clinic Immediate Care Center  

At 3680 NW Samaritan Dr., this Corvallis Clinic location requires an appointment, in-person screening, and a physician’s order. You must be symptomatic and/or had exposure and be a patient of the Corvallis Clinic to be tested here. Testing is available for children one years old and up at this site. This site is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..  

Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center  

Located at 3600 NW Samaritan Dr., this site gives non-rapid testing results in one to two days. An appointment, in-person screening, and a physician’s order are required. Testing is available at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for all ages, and the site is open on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..  

 TRACE OSU   

For Oregon State University students, free COVID testing is provided through the TRACE OSU program. If you are a student, sign up here. Once enrolled, you will be invited via email to take the test on campus. Dates and times of testing vary throughout the term, see here for more information. Community members are also randomly selected for TRACE.   

Samaritan Albany General Hospital  

With an appointment and a physician’s order, you can get non-rapid testing results in three days at this site, located at 1046 6th Ave. SW in Albany. Samaritan Albany General Hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..  

Samaritan Urgent Care Walk-In Clinics: North Albany and Geary St.  

The north Albany location at 400 Hickory St NW Ste 303 requires an appointment, in-person screening, and a physician’s order. The location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m..  

Geary St. requires an appointment, inperson screening, and a physician’s order. This testing site provides non-rapid testing results in two to seven days and is for patients only. Testing is available for all ages, and the site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..   

Linn County Fairgrounds  

For the Linn County Fairgrounds, located at 3700 Knox Butte Rd. E, an appointment is required for COVID testing. This site is open on Mondays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on Fridays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m..   

Oregon Health Authority has more information on their website about how to be tested for COVID. They suggest calling your healthcare provider before getting tested. OHA also provides info on what to do about your test results and how to proceed if you’ve been exposed to the virus.
