Samaritan Internal Medicine invites you to Lunafest, a traveling film festival celebrating short films by, for, and about women, at the LaSells Stewart Center in Corvallis, Oregon, on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. The event will also include a silent auction and food provided by generous local businesses. Proceeds from the event benefit Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Fund, which provides resources for those touched by cancer from the foothills of the Cascades to the Oregon Coast. Pistol Club. Anderson and Keeling Memorial Target Range, McAlexander Fieldhouse, 1800 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis. 6 p.m. $5. Learn firearms safety and how to shoot bullseye pistol! If it is your first visit to Pistol Club this academic year, please bring $5 for the mandatory orientation and safety training and your OSU ID. Orientation and safety training begins at 6:00 p.m. (note there is a limit to the number of trainees per night for safety reasons and please be on time…or better yet early). For members who have been trained this academic year, the range generally opens about 7:00-7:30 p.m. once training is finished. We are located at the Anderson & Keeling Memorial Target Range on the south-east corner of McAlexander Fieldhouse. We hang a sign that is visible when walking from the north on the Kerr Admin side.
