da Vinci Days. Benton County Fairgrounds, 110 SW 53rd St., Corvallis. 10 a.m. Free. da Vinci Days is all about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), showcasing the creativity of community members, students, and staff from local schools, LBCC, and OSU. Digital Life: Misinformation & News, Part 2. Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 10:30 a.m. Free. Learn strategies for identifying misinformation and disinformation in news media during this interactive workshop. Bring your own computer or use one of ours. Participation in Misinformation & News, Part 1 (July 12th) is not required to participate in this class, though it is encouraged. Digital Life workshops focus on aspects of our digital lives and are held on two Fridays of the month from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., June thru August. Music a la Carte. Oregon State University, Memorial Union Lounge, MU, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis. Fridays. 12 p.m. Free. Music a la Carte, a free, lunch-hour concert series, has been a tradition at Oregon State University since 1969. The concerts take place in the beautiful Memorial Union Lounge, most Fridays during fall, spring, and winter terms, beginning at 12 p.m. and lasting for approximately 45 minutes. They feature a variety of OSU music ensembles, faculty and student musicians, as well as regional, national, and international guest artists. Visit music-la-carte.     

Teen Library Advisors. Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 4:30 p.m. Free. Teen advisors, or members of the Society for the Prevention of Boredom in Teens, meet monthly to plan teen events, as well as give input on teen spaces, and teen materials. Teen Takeover: Midnight Late-Night! Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 7:00 p.m. Free. Teens in or entering grades 6-12 takeover the library on the 3rd Friday each month for games, movies, and more. Special in July is our annual Midnight Late-Night, from 7pm-12am! Chris Rorrer & Friends. Bombs Away Café, 2527 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 10:00 p.m. $5. Come join Chris Rorrer for his (belated) album release of “Enraptured,” supported by some of Corvallis’ finest musicians. This pop/rock album was released in 2017 and was premiered in Los Angeles, where Chris now resides. He never got a chance to share this music with his hometown until this July! Chris’ band will also be performing some new songs that will be sure to make you feel, dance, think, or all three. Featuring the likes of: Kevin Van Walk (percussion), Ben Woodman (guitar), and Andrew Jepson (electric bass). Visit for more info about this event.

Drag Addict. Demaggio’s New York Pizza, 151 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 10:00 p.m. $5. Come get your drag fix with the Haus Of Dharma’s DRAG ADDICT!!! This drag variety show includes Haus drag performers, and guest artists from around the region. The drag show will be followed by two amazing musical acts from Calgary, Canada: 36? + Laura Hickli!
