New census data show Central Oregon as the fastest growing part of the state. Closer to home, we in Benton County ranked 29th in growth among Oregon’s 36 counties – we grew by 0.6 percent, that’s 534 new souls within the county’s lines. Benton County’s total population is now 92,101.

Oregon’s population grew by 44,121, or 1.1 percent, according to the 2017-2018 census data. Our statewide population is now 4,190,713.
