Friday, January 4
Music a la Carte
Oregon State University, Memorial Union Lounge, MU, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis. Fridays. 12 p.m. Free.
What’s that, your New Year’s resolution is all about enjoying free, lunch-time concert series’? Wow, how convenient! Music a la Carte has been a staple at Oregon State University since the late 60s, and includes a diversity of musical ensembles featuring students and faculty, but also guests from all over the country and beyond. For info, visit mu.oregonstate.edu/main/ music-la-carte.
Also open on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., if you have never checked this out, you might want to correct that. They basically have… everything. It’s like a zoo of stuff being phased out of use by the University and is kind of fun to browse even if you aren’t buying anything. And if you are, it’s super cheap. For info, visit fa.oregonstate.edu.
