Oregon’s Homeless Numbers Worsening

ECONorthwest released a report on Oregon homelessness last Wednesday, and it’s painful to read. For instance, Oregon makes up only 1.3 percent of the  U.S. population, but that state accounts for 2.6 percent of the country’s homeless population. The same report  also finds 150,000 households throughout the state currently so rent burdened, that they are in danger of devolving into homelessness.
