Corvallis based 2 Towns Ciderhouse sells more cider than any other cidermaker in the state, according to research from the Portland Business Journal.
Selling 817,199 gallons last year, 2 Towns, significantly outsold its next nearest competitor, Avid Cider Company. Avid, a Bend based company, sold 198,769 gallons. Third place went to Clackamas cidermaker Portland Cider Co. – they sold 165,813 gallons.
The data was pulled from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission website. The Portland Business Journal findings also included 20.4 percent increase in gallons taxed from 2017 to 2018. 2 Towns was founded in 2010.
