This annual issue celebrates some of the best in food, booze, and brews-ness that Corvallis has to offer. We here at the Advocate believe that these businesses – among many others – help make this city a vibrant and enriching place to live. With a population of around 60,000 (including college students), the choices for locals and out-of-towners alike are truly staggering. Although we’d love to cram a million words into this issue, and go into obscene detail (and believe me, we could!), some of our content will be online-only this time around. Though we’ve expanded what this issue offers, that expansion comes with added cost. Print media the world over is feeling the stress that comes with a steady decline of advertising.
We’d like to thank our advertisers and donors who continue to make this paper possible, and implore those who haven’t considered advertising, pledging, or donating — or have been on the fence — to think again. This is a community paper, and we’d love to work with all of you, in any capacity, to keep it both local and robust!
Enjoy the pages ahead, and definitely take a moment to check out the rest of the content at http://www.corvallisadvocate.com.
