The Funky Brunch
Downward Dog Café

For most of us, brunch is the first meal of the day. And like Tony the Tiger used to say, “Start your day off RrrRrrRight!” Trust me, he said that. Anyway, you can’t start things off more right than with some funky beats and bites. Fact. For more info visit, https://www.facebook.com/events/2199937680239175/.
Teatro Milagro presents: ¡Corre, Corre!
115 SW 2nd St., Corvallis. 3:00 p.m. $5.
¡Corre Corre! tells the story of a Tarahumara girl from Chihuahua Mexico that ends up becoming an Olympic runner. It’s a tale of perseverance, atheleticism, and a poetry of living. Inspired by a real life olympic runner, this show is not to be missed. For more info and tickets visit http://www.majestic.org/.
Sunday, Sep 9
Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire
Grant Rd, Kings Valley. 10 am to 6pm. $7-$14
It’s time to get weird, folks. There’s jousting, horses, bards, dancer, and all kinds of other stuff I can’t pronounce because it’s old timey. There’s going to be over a hundred mini storefronts and something like 1,000 costumed folks upholding the atmosphere. Tons of fun for the whole family, and only a hop and a skip away. Also, don’t forget: you can dance if you want to, but don’t leave your friends behind. For more info visit, http://www.shrewfaire.com/.
