Last week, the Association of Oregon Recyclers gave the Recycler of the Year award to Pacific Region Compost, a facility in Corvallis and a division of a bigger waste management facility called Republic Services.
Representatives from Republic Services, which is based in Phoenix, told the online recycling publication Waste Today that the Corvallis processors were honored to receive this recognition and couldn’t have done it without support from their community.
Republic Services is one of the leading processors of organic waste in Oregon and has served the Corvallis area for more than 40 years.
