OSU Valley Library’s Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives is celebrating its third anniversary this August. To toast the accomplishment, the collection is expanding to include all sorts of additional Northwest fermentation and farming chronicles.
Researchers will now be able to explore home-brewed history of cider and mead, barley farming and research, and the pre-Prohibition era. The Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives was launched in 2013 and is the first collection of its kind dedicated to preserving and sharing Pacific Northwest brewing history.
Three months of daily photographs to commemorate the occasion are available on The Brewstorian blog at http://thebrewstorian.tumblr.
