Hammers, Nails, and Hamburgers

burgervilleGone are the days of having to drive to Albany or Monmouth to get your Burgerville fix… Well, almost.

Soon burgers, seasonal seasoned fries, fancy flavored milkshakes, and more will be available in Corvallis. Added bonus: The Corvallis Burgerville will be within walking distance for folks who live or work near Circle Boulevard and 9th Street.

Burgerville teased Corvallis residents with a series of free lunch celebrations, planning meetings and more last fall as the company announced it would be opening a new location at the former Wendy’s, located at 2300 NW 9th Street. But over winter there was silence as locals waited to hear about any Burgerville-related progress.

“We are thankful for the excitement and enthusiasm the Corvallis community is showing us,” said Sara Perrin, a member of Burgerville’s PR and Media Relations Counsel. “All of us at Burgerville share the community’s eagerness to get the restaurant open.”

While a firm opening date is not yet in place, building permits have been issued by the City of Corvallis, kitchen equipment has been purchased, and the interior design for the building has been completed, according to Perrin.

“We are making good progress toward opening the restaurant. We will continue to share updates as we begin the hiring process in the coming weeks, and near our opening date,” she said.

Burgerville, which is headquartered out of Vancouver, Washington, has close to 40 locations throughout Oregon and Washington.

Perrin added, “Burgerville has engaged our Willamette Valley building partner, Essex General Construction, Inc., who shares our commitments to sustainability, a thriving Northwest, and community causes.”

Follow Corvallis Burgerville on Facebook and Instagram for regular updates on the opening. Until then, start planning your first order as the hammers are pounding and the kitchen gets cooking.
