If a craft beer picnic sounds good to you, then you’re in luck: it exists, and it’s happening soon! A family-friendly picnic celebrating Corvallis’ craft beer community, the event provides a chance for the community to interact with the hardworking individuals that bring craft brew to our city. And of course there will be ample opportunity to enjoy great beer, cider, the sunshine, friends, games, and local foods.
Entertainment includes live music all day, and vendors will be serving food from local restaurants like Caves Bier & Kitchen, Kalamata, and more. The event also offers a kids’ area with face painting and other crafts. Though children are welcome, please leave your furry friends at home. However, lawn chairs and blankets are very welcome!
Admission is $20 with an additional $5 parking fee, but the price comes with some awesome perks: two 16-ounce craft beverage tickets, a craft beer picnic passport, a souvenir picnic cup made in the USA, and, of course, free high fives.
The Craft Beer Picnic is on Saturday, July 30 from noon to 8 p.m. at Cornelius Farm, 3375 SW 53rd Street, Corvallis. Children under 12 years old are free; ages 12 to 21 are $5. Free shuttles are available. For more information, visit www.corvalliscraftbeer.com.
