Rumors that the written word will be going the way of the wagon wheel may have been exaggerated, but it also appears books, newspapers, and libraries will be undergoing significant changes in the decades to come. The shape of those changes and what they mean for society will be the topic of the next City Club of Corvallis lunch, held on Monday, Feb. 9 at noon at the Boys & Girls Club.
Speakers include: Jack Wolcott of Grass Roots Books; Mary Braun, OSU Press; Bonnie Brzozowski, Corvallis-Benton County Public Library.
Lunch will be available. Attendance is free and open to the public. Registration is necessary only if you are having lunch; send an email to info@cityclubofcorvallis.org by Feb. 5.
