CIMA Festival Kick-Off at Imagine Coffee Live Arts. 5460 SW Philomath Blvd., Corvallis. From 6:30 to 9 p.m. the Corvallis Imagination Music and Art (CIMA) will show the community what’s in store for this year’s music and arts festival, August 15 and 16 at Bruce Starker Arks Park in Corvallis. Thursday, July 10
Concert: SAGE Hoedown. Amphitheater, Bruce Starker Arts Park, 4485 SW Country Club Dr., Corvallis. The SAGE Hoedown is a family-friendly concert series at the Starker Arts Park Amphitheater (6 to 10 p.m.), featuring three great bands per concert. The music will offer a little something for everyone to do-si-do to, a diverse mix of folk-country-rock-bluegrass-jam. Proceeds benefit SAGE, an educational, community organic garden that produces over three tons of food for emergency food shelters. Suggested donation: $10 per family to support a great cause.

Friday, July 11
Studio262 Grand Opening Reception. 425 SW Madison Ave., Ste. G, Corvallis. From 6 to 8 p.m. Studio262, formerly known as The Drawing Board, will make its highly-anticipated debut with an art show featuring Temporary Artists’ Guild members Rachel Urista, Holly Murphy, Danielle Beaver, Drop Out Art, and Johnny Beaver. Corvallis Advocate Community Movie Night at the Darkside Cinema 215 SW 4th Street. The Corvallis Advocate and Darkside team up for the second installment of this weekly classic cinema series with a screening of the western rom-com McLintock! (1963) starring the world’s favorite cowboy, The Duke John Wayne. This is a free, all ages event starting at 7 p.m. Small donations are welcomed and encouraged.
