Alexis Ohanian: ‘Without Their Permission’ Book & Lecture Tour. LaSells Stewart Center 875 Southwest 26th St., Corvallis. 6 – 9 p.m. Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of the popular Internet community, Reddit.com, is bringing his book tour and lecture to Oregon State University. “In this book, Alexis will share his ideas, tips and even his own doodles about harnessing the power of the web for good, and along the way, he will share his philosophy with young entrepreneurs all over the globe.”

They’re coming! Zombie Squirrels are invading Corvallis. Your only hope for survival is to take shelter at Squirrel’s Tavern and join us in a celebration of everything squirrel and undead! Crossroads International Film Festival 2014. Darkside Cinema, 215 SW 4th St., Corvallis. The Crossroads International Film Festival features six entertaining and compelling films from around the world. The festival is a fundraiser to support Crossroads International programs. Each Sunday, three films will be shown starting early afternoon, late afternoon and evening. Individual admission is $6 per person and discounted festival Passports are also available for $30. Passports include entry into six film screenings of the holder’s choice — two can share one passport and see three films each.
