South Town Holiday Art Walk. 465 SE Bridgeway, Corvallis. december 8th 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The second annual South Town Holiday Art Walk will open the homes and studios of about nine different artists. Paintings, ceramics, murals, basketry, collage, three dimensional fabric art, wooden bowls and more will be shown and sold. Directories and maps will be at Diana Rose Studio, 1515 SE Bethel St. The artists recommend that walkers, cyclists and drivers start there to pick up a map.

This play is by Teresa Deevy, a very prominent Irish dramatist of the 1930s. Annie Kinsella is a dreamer who has difficulty separating reality from her imagination. Her harsh father snaps when she’s late bringing him his dinner and presents her with an ultimatum: marry Jim Harris, a miserly, jealous young man or spend five years working in a factory. She accepts the former, but runs away in dread of a loveless marriage. There will be an interpreter signing speaking roles in American Sign Language. $6 Student/$8 General Admission.
