Cinco de Mayo may fall on a Sunday this time around, but quite a few local hotspots are still putting on events to celebrate!
The Peacock Bar and Grill on 2nd Street is throwing the “biggest Cinco de Mayo party in town,” with karaoke downstairs on its stage and dance floor and a DJ upstairs. El Presidente (1110 NE 2nd Street) will also celebrate with karaoke starting at 9 p.m.
If karaoke is not how you would like to celebrate the victory at the Battle of Puebla, Crowbar on 2nd and Madison and Downward Dog at 1st and Monroe will both be offering drink specials for the occasion.
If bars aren’t your thing but biking is, stop by the Corvallis Bicycle Collective’s event in Avery Park. Closed to vehicles, it will include everything from a parade and kinetic sculptures to bicycle education, vendors, helmet decorating, and more.
If you are looking to get out Sunday night and your favorite location isn’t on this page, give them a call or just stop by! Corvallis’ awesomeness isn’t contained in this brief list.
