OSU Theatre presents “No Exit.” April 18 – 20, 7:30 p.m.; April 21, 2 p.m.

“No Exit” was written in 1944 during the German occupation of France and deals with what happens after death, and the punishment that might be waiting for the damned. Tickets are on sale at the door only, at OSU’s The Lab Theater, Withycombe Hall, and are $6, $5 for seniors, $4 for students/youth and $3 for OSU students. Earth Ball 2013: An All-Species Masquerade, April 20, 7 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Costume party and benefit concert at Odd Fellows Hall to celebrate Earth Day and support the CEC’s programs. The CEC’s “Earth Faire” is a popular community exhibit of many of Corvallis’ eco-minded organizations, sharing their environmental efforts with games and displays, mask making, face painting, and a costume contest with prizes. $7 in advance and $9 at the door. Children 12 and under are FREE.

 

Drop Out Art Reception: Chemicals in Use, April 20, 9:30 – 11 p.m.

Tim Blackburn’s (AKA Drop Out Art) paintings at Interzone are spray paint blasts from the past, with grainy icons of TV-land and industrial dystopia. Each stencil piece is original, on canvas, paper or vintage suitcase. Special guest Symbiotic Quintet will play an original composition based on one of Blackburn’s pieces.
