As March comes to a close, Corvallis’ own Temporary Artists’ Guild will be putting on a two-day event downtown that will center around the display and sale of at least nine different local artists’ wares. Our first group show of this scale in the city, we’ll be offering everything from paintings and prints of all shapes, styles, and sizes to sculpture, engraved items, handcrafted jewelry, and a lot more. Expect to see tables up from Tim Blackburn of Drop Out Art, Jessie Barnhouse, Miriam Morrissette, Brittney West, Kristin Hayes, Sarah Page, Rachel Urista, Danielle Bean, and myself.
Much more than just a mini fair of sorts, we’re looking to further introduce ourselves, and what we do, to the community. If your social butterfly is flapping away, take this chance to come down and meet us, talk art, Corvallis, or whatever suits your fancy.
Thanks to the generosity of one Mr. Hugh White, we’ll be invading the downstairs area of the Madison Plaza building (425 SW Madison) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.
