On Monday, April 16, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis, in partnership with the Palestine Action Group, will be hosting “Who Profits and Who Resists: Corporate Interests vs. Israeli Anti-Occupation Movement,” a potluck dinner and presentation.
Dalit Baum, Ph.D., is a feminist teacher and activist as well as the co-founder of Who Profits from the Occupation, an activist research initiative of the Coalition of Women for Peace in Israel. Who Profits is a vital resource for campaigns around the world, providing information about corporate complicity in the occupation of Palestine.
Baum currently works out of San Francisco as the regional program coordinator of the Middle East program of AFSC – the American Friends Service Committee – and with the Economic Activism for Palestine Program of Global Exchange, which supports corporate accountability campaigns in the United States.
The program will begin at 6 pm with a potluck dinner followed by Dalit Baum’s presentation at 7 pm. The church is located at 2945 NW Circle Blvd. in Corvallis. For more information, please call 541-766-8229.
