Dam Good Music Festival – May 18th

Seven Bands in All Day Festival at the Majestic Theatre – May 18 – Doors at 7:30pm

Featuring popular Oregon bands including Fjords, Old Age, The We Shared Milk, And And And , Wampire and AU. Nurses will be headlining the concert.

The festival was created by Elizabeth Elder and the KBVR staff, and became a possibility with the inclusion of Corey Pearlstein from the Majestic. “We have been looking to produce a power house show to end our season and we seized the chance to host.” says Pearlstein. The Majestic has been undergoing a vast revitalization since Pearlstein was appointed, and it’s quickly becoming a premium outlet for quality music acts. This year they have produced everything from Belly Full of Bob to The Builders and The Butchers. Two rows of permanent seating have been removed to accommodate large concerts like the Dam Fine Music Fest.

Volunteers from the KBVR radio station staff will be coming out to assist with the show. The Dam Good Music Festival is sponsored by The Corvallis Advocate and Flat Tail Brewing Company whose beer will be on tap at the event. Tickets are $15, the doors open at 7:30p.m., show from 8p.m. – 1a.m. The Majestic will be providing beer, wine and concessions at the Makers’ Space Culture Bar.
