80s Video Dance Attack, with VJ Kittyrox, is making its debut in Corvallis this Saturday September 29th at 9 p.m. at Bomb’s Away Café! VJ Kittyrox started her DJ career in 1986, making her first 80s mix tape at age nine. In 2005, she started her own exclusively 80s dance night with accompanying videos, and 80s Video Dance Attack was born. Over the course of the last 7+ years her weekly event has grown from a small gathering of regulars to a Portland phenomenon that annually draws tens of thousands fans clad in neon, leg warmers, jelly bracelets, and blown out big hair.
VJ Kittyrox has kept the fires of MTV’s golden era burning—so dig out your neon mesh shirts, crimping iron and striped legwarmers to travel back to the 1980s! Classic music videos projected on giant screens complimented with a thumping sound system and light show, this dance extravaganza is sure to get the blood pumping! For one night only, Video did not kill the Radio Star! Tickets are $5 at the door—this is a 21 and over event. For more info, visit http://80svideodanceattack.com/vjkittyrox.html.
