15th Annual Corvallis Celtic Christmas Concert

Nothing runs for 15 years without good reason, and as far as holiday events go, this should be near the top of your list! European and Celtic-infused Christmas music is the name of the game, and will feature the international ensemble of American keyboardists and vocalist Jeff Johnson, Irish flutist Brian Dunning, and German and American vocalists Marc Gremm and Janet Marie Chvatal. Every Sunday Downtown Dance hosts this event, and if you’re into dance, you’ll want to check it out. As they describe it, this is “a time to practice the art of improvisation, exploring the endless possibilities of moving while in contact (or not). Feel the play of gravity, support, weight, counterbalance, and downright playfulness.” Solo, duet, and large group improvisation is all on the table!
