“The queerest Halloween party in Corvallis,” Haus of Dharma presents a drag show + tunes from The Latter Day Skanks. Proceeds go to both the performers and band, which is more icing on the cake – as is the fact that there’s going to be a sweet costume contest, complete with prizes. Philomath Open Studios: Art Tour and Sale

Philomath. 12 – 5 p.m. Free.

Loads of great, local artists are opening up their workspaces – and you should take advantage. There will be local wine tasting, discussions, and work you may have no other chance to see. Everything from collage to painting, fiber art, jewelry, photography, ceramics, wood, sculpture, etc., will be present. The “something for everyone” is strong with this event. Majestic Readers’ Theater: Foxfire

Foxfire is a great story about an elderly Appalachian widow living on her farm with the ghost of her dead husband. A real estate developer moves in on the property wanting to create a resort, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This Majestic run of the Broadway classic is sure to delight.
