Mother Earth News Fair Brings Hands-On Learning

We at The Advocate are a green shade of giddy to announce our partnership with Mother Earth News magazine for their upcoming Albany installment of the Mother Earth News Fair, returning to the Linn County Expo Center, August 5 and 6.

Between 12,000 and 15,000 attendees are expected to gather at the Albany fair this August. The event will host over 150 exhibitors and sponsors, and include over 200 workshops and demonstrations featuring fun and earth-friendly living practices–from organic gardening and green building, to cheese, bees, and kombucha. Attendees are given hands-on experience in things like creating compost, making herbal medicines, baking bread, and so much more. Vendors from the local area will include Shonnards Nursery Florist and Landscape, Coconut Bliss, Mountain Rose Herbs, and GloryBee, just to name a few.

Readers, we advise you don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity–Albany is the only West Coast location for the Mother Earth News Fair this year. The fair is intended to breathe the magazine’s content to life, which has a growing readership of more than 8 million, and boasts itself as the largest and longest-running environmental lifestyle magazine on planet Earth herself.

The Mother Earth News Fair will be held at the Linn County Expo Center, in Albany, Oregon, Saturday, August 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, August 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For prices, and a full list of workshops and vendors, visit http://www.motherearthnewsfair.com./
