Does your teddy bear need stitches? How about your dog, does he need a bath? Are you looking for the newest model of fancy or healthy dog collars? Well, OSU Pet Day can meet all of these needs and more.
Activities at this annual, family-friendly event include a petting zoo, teddy bear surgery, dog wash, agility demos, and tours of the veterinary hospital. Vendors and volunteers will staff booths with the latest health, wellness, and nutrition information for your pets. Information pertaining to adoption and therapy animals will be provided as well. Dog collars with little tennis balls on them, anyone?
OSU Pet Day will be held on Saturday, May 7 at Magruder Hall on the OSU Campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsors include Banfield Pet Hospital, Hills Pet Nutrition, Nestlé Purina Pet Care Company, the Oregon Animal Health Foundation, and more.
Whether your dog passes the sniff test or not, it promises to be a great time for pet lovers of all kinds.
