This run is in memory of Dave “Condor” Bateham. The fee is $45, and you can register at www.condor25k.org. Proceeds from this run will be donated to the Oregon State University Research Forest Fund for trail maintenance and the construction of new trails. Oct. 11: The 25th Annual Great Pumpkin Run, 9 a.m.
Sponsored by Home Life Inc. and Calapooia Brewing Company, you can run and drink at the same time. As long as you are 21 or older, you get a free beer at registration. Proceeds support Home Life Inc., a local nonprofit that provides support for adults with developmental disabilities. New this year: a costume contest! Nov. 14: Doggie Dash Fun Run and Fair, 9 a.m.
An annual fundraiser for the OSU Veterinary Medical Club, this fun run is actually the highlight of a much larger fair, complete with contests, fun, and games for the whole family. Registration is open; you can register at www.osupvma.zohosites.com.
Nov. 14: Third Annual Color Me Chi-O, 11 a.m.
This run is open to the whole community and benefits the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Sponsored by the Chi Omega Sorority, this run is sure to be a blast of color.
