America’s leading live cooking school will provide entertaining and relatable cooking instruction along with plenty of local food concession stands. Corvallis is just one of 250 stops on the tour, which features culinary specialists engaging with attendees. They really know their way around a kitchen, even if they’re not in a kitchen. Culinary specialist Guy Klingzing will share his favorite culinary tips and tricks while demonstrating recipes of up to 10 of the season’s best dishes. The recipes will be suitable for an amateur cook with any level of experience. If you can boil water, Klingzing will give you tips to use in your own kitchen.
Attendees will receive a gift bag chock full of goodies from local and national sponsors, coupons, Taste of Home magazines, and more. There will also be exciting prizes up for grabs.
The Taste of Home Cooking School and Expo will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18. The local businesses expo will run from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by the Cooking School from 3 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $18, or $50 for a VIP ticket which includes a VIP seat, meet and greet with a culinary specialist, a cookbook, and backstage tour.
