Insights Into Gardening. LaSells Stewart Center, 875 SW 26th St., Corvallis. 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. A day-long seminar offering practical, hands-on learning for home gardeners and gardeners-to-be. Whether you are an experienced or novice gardener, new to the area or an Oregon native, you will find plenty of ideas to make your gardening easier, more enjoyable and more successful. In addition to the seminars, there are 30 exhibitors to browse and Grass Roots Books will be on site with a selection of gardening books. Doors open at 8 a.m. for registration. Rhapsody in the Vineyard: Downtown Wine Walk. Downtown Corvallis. 3:30 – 7 p.m. Retailers throughout downtown will host Oregon wineries with representatives from each winery on hand to discuss their wines and answer your questions. Businesses will provide delicious appetizers along with music and/or artwork by local artisans. Wine is also available for purchase by the bottle or case.
