Keepers of the Earth: Native American Stories and Music. Corvallis Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave. May 8th, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. For over 30 years, Joseph Bruchac has been creating poetry, short stories, novels, and music that reflect his Abenaki Indian heritage and Native American traditions. He will combine storytelling, music, and discussion in this free event for adults, teens, and school-age children. A fantastic opportunity to check out the library and indulge in a beautiful culture.
